Alph holds an Honours degree in Psychology from the University of London and a Masters degree in Systems Engineering (Intelligent Knowledge Based Systems) from the University of the South Bank in London. He is adjunct faculty member at the Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW), University in Paderborn Germany where he teaches Culture & Conflict on the MBA program. Alph is an associate of the Authentic Leadership Institute in Boston and is principal of Business Learning Solutions based in Munich serving clients worldwide.

Alph has decades of experience in the area of international executive education and management development. He is a specialist in the areas of action learning, emotional intelligence, people integration and communication, virtual teaming and cross - cultural management & leadership. He is a renowned storyteller and teaches executives how to integrate stories in their communication strategy and presentations. He is qualified in the use of a wide selection of analytical tools including the MBTI, FIRO-B and is qualified as a senior consultant in The Birkman®Method.
He has led executive programs on all four continents and as head of Siemens Management Learning (SML), he led one of the most comprehensive and successful programs in the global executive education arena, with operations in more than sixty countries worldwide.
Now regarded as a benchmark in terms of the globalization of the learning function, SML has been featured in "Business Week" and numerous other publications. He has consulted for many international organizations including General Cologne Re, Disney, Müller, KION, Siemens Energy, SEN, International Truck & Engine and Experian.
